Job Description
Wildfire Contact, a progressive direct voter contact firm based in Washington DC, Des Moines and Chicago is seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our growing team of political professionals who provide direct mail, design, paid phone and targeting services to a broad range of clients nationwide. Account Executives will be based in either Washington, DC, Chicago, IL or Des Moines, IA and are responsible for supporting senior staff with research, message development, maintaining budgets and working closely with the Art and Production Department to ensure on-time and error-free production of campaign mail programs. Account Executives may manage client interactions in collaboration with client lead and assist in managing other staff as needed.

Candidates for this position will be extremely detail-oriented, very well-organized and self-motivated. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 cycles of political experience. The ability to work in a fast paced environment with teammates based locally and around the country is expected. Strong interpersonal communication skills and a positive outlook are required for success in this position. We pride ourselves on outstanding creative, strategy and customer service. We expect our staff to constantly strive to meet or exceed these expectations, and have fun doing it. A bachelor’s degree is not required to succeed in this position.

This is a position for the 2020 election cycle. Similar to our campaign clients, our staff are expected to put in long and irregular hours as needed. Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant political experience

  • Ability to manage 1-2 other staff, as needed, on a project by project basis

  • Proficiency in Excel and a comfort level with learning new software

  • Be able to assist the project lead in day to day client relations

  • Strong, responsive written and verbal communication

  • Attention to detail

  • Experience with or willingness to grow creative writing skills preferred

  • Flexible, poised-under-pressure attitude

  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple projects and ensuring all deadlines are met

  • Confidence in managing expectations and deadlines of team members and project leads

  • Strong client service skills and a desire to help clients achieve success

  • Team player

  • Sense of humor!
